An estimated one thousand people on Saturday 23rd October 2021 participated in a march organised by the Foundation of Civil Society (FCS) as part of this year’s CSO Week celebrations taking place in Dodoma, Tanzania.
The activity led by Police Brass Band started from 09:30 AM at Dodoma Secondary School and completed at Jakaya Kikwete Convention centre premises involving representatives from the CSOs, Dodoma Secondary School students and other stakeholders, to mention but a few.
The participants carried various posters displaying key messages to the public related to the 2021 CSO Week celebrations activities.
At the end of the activity, the people had an opportunity to visit various Exhibitions Booths placed at the Centre premises whereby the CSOs showcased their products and services including research and analysis papers.
The exhibition takes places today on Saturday and will run until Sunday 24th October as part of the 2021 CSO Week celebrations. The celebrations scheduled for 23rd to 29th October will be graced by the Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Job Ndugai.
This year’s CSO Week is celebrated in Dodoma, Tanzania under the general theme “Azaki na Maendeleo” translated in Kiswahili as “CSOs Contributions to National Development”.
