Being the first year of implementation of HakiRasilimali-PWYP Tanzania strategic plan 2017-2020 ,2017 has offered an immense opportunities for the platform to set the stage for advocacy in the extractive sector in Tanzania. This would not be successful without beautiful contributions, cooperation and collaboration from our dear members (Action for Democracy and Local governance, HakiMadini, Governance Links, Governance and Economic Policy Center, ONGEA and Tanganyika Law Society. Their support to see the secretariat growth is highly appreciated.
We cannot ignore the fact that like -minded organizations, individuals, institutions, from the Government, Multi-national companies , communities, NGOs, faith leaders (Interfaith), academia, media, individuals et al have all played a key contribution in the implementation of our activities for the year 2017. This ranges from dialogues, discussions, debates, campaigns and training that all aim at enhancing Transparency and accountability of the sectors.
Our technical supporters , advisers and donors thank you for countess support.
It is our sincere hope that , this synergy will continue for the year 2018
