Adam Anthony joined HakiRasilimali in July 2022 as Executive Director. He has been elected by Civil Society Organizations working in the mining, oil and gas sectors to represent the constituency in the Tanzania Extractive Industry Transparency Committee for three years, 2022-2024. He is a results-based professional with 8 years of experience in the extractive and natural resource governance sector and is highly qualified in public policy. Prior to HakiRasilimali, Adam worked for the Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa in Tanzania and spearheaded natural resource governance projects. He managed a portfolio of grants in the extractive sector in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.

His academic background, research and work experience include natural resource governance, public policy, international trade, development, investment and public management. He has experience in project management, development, resource mobilization and strategic planning.

He holds a BSc. Economics from Mzumbe University, Postgraduate Diploma in Economic Diplomacy, MA. International Trade from the University of Dar es Salaam and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and holds a certificate in Policy Design and Delivery from Harvard Kennedy School as part of the Public Leadership Credential.
